Acrylic extensions involve adding plastic tips to lengthen your nails, then covering with acrylic. Overlays use the same product but are applied directly to your natural nails — perfect if you’re happy with your nail length.
I always recommend overlays where possible. They give your natural nails a chance to grow strong and look beautiful, with a more natural finish.
